Never wanted to publicly put these poems online, but perhaps it is the only way to simply let go, by making them so less sacred than I had once held them to be.

In all my life,
I tried to learn,
and understand.
I tried to love,
a truthful love,
and tell the truth.

I tried to give,
and tried to live,
and to expect,
that people may,
be kind and pure.
But now of that,
I'm not too sure.

And in my life,
I learned to care,
and trust my love,
I trusted you,
and please believe,
that it was true.

I lived for you,
to see your smile,
to see your face.
To let you live,
in utter grace.

I lived to write,
for you a poem,
like I now do.
I swear to you,
that it is true.

I lived to drown,
in your loving eyes,
and make you taste,
my gentle kiss.
To take you to,
my utter bliss.
to trace my lips,
upon your lips,
and try to sense,
your longing smile.

Please take my gift,
my loving gift.
And bear my words...
In love no pride,
should come between,
a loving two,
for pride will surely,
ruin him and ruin you.

I bid you love,
a last farewell.
I hope you find,
a person who,
is true to you,
as I have been,
so true to you.

Be well my love,
my gentle dove.
And pray for me,
as I will always,
pray for you.
